I think its a class 40 ,not 37 . Number on cab side looks like D286 or D206 but certainly resembles (length) type 4 not 3 of the late 50's early 60's.
Definitely a class 40 not a 37, on a down East Coast main line train from King's Cross in the 1950s on the newly-quadrupled track through Hadley Wood, with that station and a new tunnel in the background.
