According to this webpage, this central African country has 953 km of 3'6" (1067 mm) gauge railways, and the first line was opened in 1901.
The second pic from wikipedia shows Kumasi station in 2005 - a few goats would be useful :-).
The locomotive visible is a Co-Co type diesel electric built by Henschel in 1959 with a GM prime mover of 1400 hp output, a service weight of 83 tonnes and a nominal top speed of 100 km/h. It looks like the Toll Australia maintenance schedule has been followed with this one :-). In fact according to railwaysafrica.com 45% of the country's locomotives are out of service.
