Some of the posters featured in this blog have come from this book Le Train s'affiche published by La Vie du Rail in 2005, of which we have a copy in our library. In a big format it contains hundreds of European railway posters (not just French) nicely reproduced, from the golden era of long distance (sometimes even short distance) travel when it was a glamous adventure. If you can find it on the second hand market, we recommend getting it.
