Just as it's hard to drive along Dominion Road in Auckland without being reminded of the song about it, it's hard to go through Pasadena in California without being reminded of the Jan & Dean song (covered by the Beach Boys) "The Little Old Lady from Pasadena" from 1964; the song says she likes to drive a new super stock Dodge along Colorado Boulevard. This view is taken at the intersection of East Colorado Boulevard and Oakland Avenue looking west. That car approaching on the left looks like a British Standard 8 (see earlier post).
