Quite different to the Redfern people know today. These pics show the station built in 1874 which started with two platforms and grew to 14. Its role was replaced by the present Central Station in 1906, about 3 km to the north, and this was rebuilt as a through station. The first pic is probably 1890s and the second looks 1900s.
