Western Maryland's geared Shay locomotive number 6 was the last built by Lima, delivered in 1945 for coal haulage, but its commercial life was short - only 4 years. Donated eventually to the B&O Museum, it was part of a swap with the Cass Scenic Railroad in West Virginia in 1981. website
