inside the QEII Park museum workshop

Another pic by Wallace Trickett of the former Wellington City Transport Leyland Royal Tiger from 1953 with a New Zealand Motor Bodies body undergoing preservation at the Paekakariki Tramway Museum in 2004. It was a 39 seater and one of the first buses fitted with a Westinghouse Air Brake. It was used on sightseeing tours (see the book Wellington: a Capital Century for a pic taken on Mt Victoria).
