In his book Traincatcher Colin Taylor suggested that someone should produce a list of the great train songs. Well, thanks to video posting sites such as youtube, we can now do one better than that: you can view many of them on our blog. This is the first of several: "Trans-Europe Express" by Kraftwerk, a German band, that made the charts in 1977.
