The Antwerp tram system is metre-gauge; it began as a horse pulled system in 1873, was electrified with 600 V DC from 1902 and today has 12 routes. The city also had 3 trolley bus routes between 1929 and 1964. (photos by Jean-Henri Manara, alias jhm0284)
