The Seaboard Air Line Railroad (SAL) station in Miami, Florida, circa 1940
This was located at 2210 NW 7th Avenue in Allapattah, Florida, two miles north of downtown Miami. The first SAL train arrived in Miami on January 8, 1927 and this station building was built in 1930.
In 1971, Amtrak took over passenger services and moved them to a new station near the SAL's Hialeah Yards opened in 1978.
Probably a Model 11A - 1925 was the first year that Franklin featured a false radiator that gave it the appearance of a water-cooled car. The 1924 Franklin featured a 'horse collar' grille. The 11A was designed by J. Frank de Causse, one of America’s first true automotive stylists. While the new look was controversial within the company, it was immensely popular with the public and sales soared.

The older car in the centre of the photo is a circa 1925 Franklin, an air-cooled car.
