This two-axle steeple cab locomotive dated from 1902 and lasted in use until 1959 making it the oldest operational electric locomotive in the British Isles at the time. These show the loco and goods wagons in 1906. The loco was used on a short line built in 1899 from Hellingly Station to the nearby psychiatric hospital. An 0-4-0 tank steam loco was used initially.
