NZR Q class with a suburban train to Port Chalmers from Dunedin, NZ

Probably late 1930s, seen entering St Leornards. The Q class, of which 13 were built by Baldwin in 1901, is considered to be the world's first 4-6-2, hence the term 'Pacfic' type.  For lots more see our books. (colorized b/w pic by the late Stan Rockliff)
