little steam train of Cluses, France

One of the many Chemins de Fer Departmentaux that were typically meter-gauge and usually referred to as tramways. This one was in the Haute-Savoie Quartier Saint-Vincent. It ran between Cluses - Sallanches-Combloux-Megève - Saint-Gervais-les-Bains-Le Fayet (22.3 km) and put into operation on 15 June 1898. In the pic is the portal of the Tunnel de Chevran (average altitude 486 mètres, length 298 mètres). There is still a railway here.
