Japan National Railways class EF58 electric locomotive


A total 172 units of this 2-C+C-2 axle arrangement type, 1500 Volt DC electric locomotives were built between 1946 and 1958. Here one is depicted hauling a blue passenger train decorated with a "Sakura" (Cherry Blossom) headboard, characteristic of 1950s/1960s Japanese children's railway books magazines.

1950 Cadillac Series 61 or 62 Sedan in New York City, early 1950s

It's the type of car that would have been used by Mafia bosses among others.  The location is Washington Square West looking towards the Empire State building in the distance and the Hotel Holley is now used for NYU accomodation.
