Alco RS3 of the Kennecott Copper Corporation

A classic shape of the 1950s: a total 1,418 of these Bo-Bo road switchers powered by a turbo-charged V12 ALCo 244-D 1,600 hp prime mover were produced from 1950 to 1956. This one was seen in the Robinson Mine of Ruth, Nevada.
