cars in Buenos Aires, Argentina, early 1950s


If you think it could almost be Paris, you won't be the first to make that comparison.  Some nice sloped car rears to identify...

I think this pic is more likely early 1950s as the car sixth in from right is a Vauxhall E Series first seen in mid 1952.

In order from the right I think the cars are ; circa 1946-7 Chevrolet, 1940 Plymouth, 1932 Ford cabriolet, 1939 or 1940 Ford, circa 1938 Chrysler product (maybe Dodge or Plymouth), then the Vauxhall, then a Buick sedanette from about 1948, then a VW Beetle and then a 1946-8 Ford. The grey convertible in the street maybe another Ford of 1933 or 1934.
