NZ's highest viaduct
As those who have our books know, the highest viaduct in NZ is the 97 metre high (318 ft), 278 metre (913 feet) long railway viaduct on the Napier - Gisborne line, opened in 1937. However, since this line has been Steven Joyced, it is now not used.
