At Argos, Indiana, on the Fort Wayne to Chicago main line of the old Nickel Plate Road railway, 765, a 2-8-4 type built in 1944 engages in switching (shunting) in 1957, a year before all 80 of the 700 class were out of service. This one was saved at Fort Wayne. Nickel Plate was part of a mreger into the Norfolk and Western in 1964.
Much effort has been put into restoration over the years and it is currently in regular heritage main line use. website
