1929 Reo Flying Cloud

Reminiscent of the 1920s Oldsmobile truck that began each episode of the Beverly Hillbillies (and hillbillies seems appropriate here given the state of the car) this shows a 1929 Reo Flying Cloud at a Standard Oil Red Crown filling station in Sturgeon Bay, Wisconsin, in 1940. Present day view below.

The Flying Cloud was introduced in 1927, and continued until REO ended car manufacturing in 1936. It was powered by a 6-cylinder engine. The 1929 Flying Cloud sold for $1395 (Mate) or $1895 (Master).
