The Australian-built E53A Prefect was quite different to the British E93A and E493A models that were assembled and sold in NZ.
Old-fashioned styling for 1949, with separate headlights on top of the mudguards - all American cars and the Holden 48-215 had their headlights integrated into the mudguards.
