Egyptian Olympian who refused to shake hands with an Israeli opponent is sent home
Egyptian judoka Islam El Shehaby has been sent back to Egypt for refusing to shake hands with his Israeli opponent at the end of a match at the Rio 2016 Olympics. The Egyptian Olympic Committee denounced his actions, saying they went against the Olympic Games' "spirit of friendship."
