SNCF 141R and Vetra trolleybuses, France, 1956

A total 1,340 of the 141R (a 2-8-2 type) were built after WW2 for the SNCF by the big North American steam locomotive builders. This particular one, 308, was built by ALCo.

The Dijon trolleybus system was inaugurated in 1950 and lasted to 1966; all 17 buses in the fleet were by Vetra.
