Adelaide 400 class 'Red Hen' railcar



Seen at the downtown station. The 400 class had driving cabs at both ends, and could be used as a single car when needed, or in multiple with other railcars to make up longer trains. The top example was one of 20 built between 1959 and 1961; the lower example one of another batch of 17 which followed a decade later.
