One of the famous 7 Galloping Geese built by Rio Grande Southern as cheap railcars for its 3 ft gauge passenger operations. Goose No. 4 was built in 1932 using a Pierce-Arrow automobile and a Wayne bus body. It was restored to operation in August 2011 by the volunteers of the
Ridgway Railroad Museum and the Telluride fire department, in the vicinity of which the pic was taken.
