New Plymouth trams

 

Views along Devon Street, the main street in New Plymouth, the first probably taken not long after the electric tram system commenced in 1916 and the second probably about 1930. The system closed in 1954. There were two main routes: through the town centre from the Port to Fitzroy, and from the town centre to David Street, Westown.
