the Portuguese class 2600 electric locomotives

Not only the loco in this postcard of Santarem is French, so are the passenger cars: two corail type and then some "inox" or stainless steel type.

If it looks like the French SNCF BB15000 class (nicknamed the Nez-Cassée or broken nose), it's because they were built by Alsthom/MTE. The first 12, numbers 2601-12 are from 1974. Numbers 2621-29 are from 1987, these are referred to as the série/class 2620.
