the need for trucks

It seems this German trucking company feels the need to justify its existence.  All the tasks specified are what trucks are needed for; the contentious issue of course is whether they need to go long distance all the way alongside a railway, particularly if as in NZ roads are congested and the railways are under-used or not used at all.

"Don't get upset!
From Monday no more trucks roll
From Tuesday you can fetch your newspaper yourself from the printer
On Wednesday it is the bread from yesterday
On Thursday there is no more petrol at the service station
On Friday you can bring the trash to the dump by bicycle
On Saturday you can stroll through the empty shelves in the supermarket
On Sunday you can sleep in, the beer in the pub is anyway all
On Monday you don't need to go to work as there is no more material"
