In the book Celluloid Dreams produced for the centenary of NZ filmmaking and filmgoing, we gave Billy T. James a whole page - he was and still is NZ's best ever comedian, and a great actor. The Reserve Bank says it is planning to revise the banknote design, so this is one good change it can make. The need to placate the dwindling number of monarchists with a picture of Liz has gone; all the faces on our banknotes should be notable New Zealanders.
