L.A. news helicopter crash kills 3 -- 2 news crew and 1 on the ground

 

Those who live in L.A. know what a fundamental role these news helicopters play in collecting TV news stories around the region and NBC LA / Telemundo staff are understandably devastated by this crash that happened while they were doing their job, in this case reporting on a fatal crash between a bus and a SUV.
