Obviously for use in French speaking countries.  Iberia was established in 1927 and nationalised in 1944.  The aircraft depicted could be a DC-4.

road and rail routes through Paekakariki

 

A well-known viewpoint at the top of the Paekakariki Hill Road, looking north. The station visible in the middle of the pic was the northern terminus of the electrification from Wellington from 1940 to 1983.  The main road along the coast was also completed in 1940, replacing the Hill Road which has since been just a local road.  For lots more, see the book Wellington Transport Memories.

While on the subject of BR in the early '60s, here is a wonderfully evocative piece of pamphlet art about a 'travel warrant plan', redolent of the class distinction that existed in England at least into the 1980s (if you applied for a job and didn't have an English accent you would likely be asked what school you went to and what your father did).  In this case the man looks like he needs to visit the "gentlemen's" a.k.a. the "loo".

Two of the John Greene artworks commissioned by BR to publicize its electrification of the north-western mainline. They are now in the National Railway Museum in York.
