A total of 75 of this Co-Co type were built, prime mover was an Alco 251B V16 rated at 2,400 hp. Of the 75 all but 5 ex-Santa Fe were scrapped. The Pennsy took 6, numbered 8611 to 8616. Three units at Altoona, Pennsylvania, Slope Tower. (via Steve Allen)
