IHB Class U-4a number 101 was one of three super switchers built by Alco-Brooks in 1927 and were the most powerful 0-8-0s ever constructed. They had three cylinders and a booster engine in the tender (note the forward tender truck/bogie). The cylinder head of the third cylinder was underneath the smoke box. Withdrawal took place in 1951.
