This 40 mile (64 km) operation between Fort Bragg on the coast inland to Willits has faced precarious times in the last two decades, but is still there. M100 is still operable.

The M100 skunk train at one time served the M&NF Railroad when it was in service for the M&NF it was called the blue goose and it was Pullman car green It ran from Clearfield KY to read wine KY it was used until they pulled the track which only left 4 miles the blue goose was sold but the M&NF railroad had steam power to haul clay from the clay mines on clack mountain the last steam engine that the railroad had was#12 and it was finally sold to the Age of steam round house in singer Creek Ohio
