Micheline rubber-tired metre-gauge autorail in Madagascar stamp, 1974

A total of 7 went to Madagascar: 4 type 51 from 1932 to 1938 (18 seating places), then 3 in 1952/53 of type 52 (42 seating places).  They lasted until the 1980s when there was a problem getting replacement tires.  Two were restored later for tourist purposes and a third from 1952 with a 80 hp Panhard motor was repatriated to France.
