Appropriate to the theme of Valentine's Day, this was one of the most famous cruise ships of the modern era, the Pacific Princess, which was torn apart at a scrapyard in Turkey a couple of years ago.
Recognizable to millions of TV viewers as the "Love Boat" of the 1970s-1980s, the one-time Princess Cruises vessel made its final voyage in August 2013 to the scrapyard after failing to sell to a new owner. The ship had her maiden voyage in May 1971 as the 167.74-metre (550 ft 4 in) long, 19,903 grt Sea Venture.
