the Myrdal to Flam railway, mostly from the cab

One of the most impressive lines in Norway, see earlier post.

I really enjoyed that, wonderful journey, well maintained track and clearances,-no weeds, no graffiti on any stations,no commercialism , hardly any cars on the roads,it must be one of the best train rides to drive, never tiring and what a great finish with cruise liners waiting. Is there just the two services each way or is this line well patronised, loved Norway ,thanks for posting this, you don't tire of it .

The trains run from Myrdal to Flam and then back again, almost totally for tourists, although some locals probably use it to go to Bergen and then home again.

Fares for the 20 km trip each way are expensive, although that applies to everything in Norway.
