Like the other U.S. freight railroads, Norfolk Southern attaches plenty of importance to its heritage. Here former Norfolk and Western class J #611 -- a streamlined 4-8-4 built in 1950 -- leads train 957 uphill at Jamestown, North Carolina, during its mainline test run on 21 May 2015.
