Aer Lingus poster, 1951

Featuring a DC-3 or formally, a Douglas C-47A Skytrain, registration EI-AFA.  The airline was founded in 1936 and the name Aer Lingus is an anglicisation of the Irish form Aer Loingeas, which means Air Fleet.

Built in 1944, it served with Are Lingus until 1963, when it was sold in Nepal. Its final fate seems uncertain.
