Russian nuclear icebreaker 'Yamal'

Complete with smiling shark jaws which were painted on in 1994 when the ship began taking children from various countries to the North Pole under charity programs. To make the kids even happier they “made the ship smile”. Originally named October Revolution this was built in 1986,  relaunched in 1992, renamed Yamal. Such nuclear icebreakers have been used for tourist trips to the North Pole since 1989, a three weeks cruise costs $25,000.  The rest on EnglishRussia.com
