Northern Ohio Traction and Light Company interurban

This company began building and acquiring interurban railways around the turn of the 19th/20th centuries . Based around Akron, its four routes reached Canton, Massillon, New Philadelphia and Uhrichville; west to Wadsworth and east to Alliance and Warren. The operation reached its peak in the 1920s, but competition from road traffic during the second half of that decade saw business slump and the closure of the Akron-Canton service on 15 April 1928 presaged the closure of the rest over 1931-1932.
