three level railroad crossing in Richmond, Virginia
A circa 1950 postcard, almost certainly specially posed, of three locomotives of different railroads crossing each other at what was then the intersection of 16th and Dock streets. The three levels still exist. There probably aren't many places where this happens, athough one other at least is in Berlin's new Hauptbahnhof.
No guesses at what the top two level locomotives are without being able to see the axle arrangements and the road numbers, however, Southern Railway's 2106 was an Alco RS-3 diesel model (Bo-Bo, 1600 hp) from 1949.
