A one time flag stop on the SIMT, also a locality between Clinton and Gore on the Presidential Highway (see earlier post). The year 1972 was just about the end of the "good old days" before the oil shock of 1973, the dive in the terms of trade, the hike into double digit inflation and the end of full employment.
