another notable book cover - Bond cars and vehicles

This book's cover has been composed with three colours - metallic silver, black and red - printed on a 'touchy feely' type of artificial fabric over boards. The silver colour varies according to the angle you look at it, from a dark mauve to a silver metallic lustre. The red of the word 'cars' was obviously added as a contrast, although it could also have been left white with little difference to the impact.

The book was published last year by Dorling Kindersley or DK and covers the cars, motorbikes and other craft (aerial and marine) used in James Bond movies up to and including Quantum of Solace. Although James Bond is associated with Aston Martin cars, there are several others in the movies, but the book is not by any means complete and is more aimed at the movie fan than the transport enthusiast.  It consists of stills and a few production scenes giving the context in which the vehicle appears.   Here and there you get specifications.  However, for more you can look up the Internet Movie Cars Database. The book has 144 mostly colour pages.
