railcars on the Napier-Gisborne line, 1956
Two coupled Fiat railcars in 1956 on the spectacular Napier-Gisborne railway, the first full year of use of these railcars on most provincial passenger services. They lasted until withdrawn by the Muldoon government in 1978.
