last train on a one-time Burlington Northern branch, Washington state

"The last train to run the Mansfield Branch Line is seen here exiting the tunnel at Douglas Creek Falls where Douglas Creek Canyon and Moses Coulee merge. This was on March 2, 1985, and two years later the tracks and trestles were ripped out and steel shipped off to Korea. In 1988, the tunnel ends would be sealed up, and in 2000 a portion of the tunnel collapsed from years of neglect. The last train consisted of 2 BN GP 39-2's, 40 boxcars, and one caboose."
