I have actually been a passenger on that bus in the 1940's. It was operating on the Dalby (Isle of Man/west coast) run, and we would use it on wet days to go to school. The fare being one penny/halfpenny in old money. Oh, life races by too fast. Davey Crockett

My father and brother restored a 1928 Thornycroft Bus which was used in the Ngaio Marsh Film Died in the Wool https://m.imdb.com/title/tt7562912/?ref_=nm_flmg_t_11_dr

I just found out recently it is the in the main photo for this film. Our restored London Taxi cab also in the film, which is preserved by NZ Film Commission which can viewed in its entirety. I remember being an extra at 10 on this film.

I don't know what happened to the bus, my dad Harry Berry died in 1995.

My brother Grahame Berry is also known for building cars like Lotus replicas.

No idea what happened to the bus.

Dad worked at the Len Southward Museum too, before it was actually built, restoring cars and doing sign writing, painting. The Thornycroft did 8 miles to the gallon! I travelled the North Island in it.

Anyone know anything?
