Fiat railcar Rm 120 and a DA-hauled carriage train are seen stopped at Masterton. The nature of the manoeuvres is not mentioned, but a guess is that the railcar was continuing over the north Wairarapa line while the DA was hauling a peak time supplementary train as far as Masterton. (Neill Cooper)
