A total 172 of these 1500 V DC electrics, used on the Paris-Lyon "Imperial" railway line, were built over 1948-1955. Only 2 were preserved, most were withdrawn in 2003 and scrapped. 60 derivitives were used in the Netherlands. Is that meant to be a Mercedes Benz in gthe foreground?
