Carjam told you it was 'Custombuilt' but that is just NZTA registration being unable to accept that there were more than just a handful of manufacturers. As I am sure you know Hansa was part of the Borgward empire.
Have to disagree with that comment. There are lots of odd make cars registered as 'custombuilt' which are just regular production cars but from a now defunct maker.
More on that. To quote just one example is a photo from your pages - although I didn't record when. A 1964 Gordon-Keeble registered DQY804. Check on carjam - it is a 'custombuilt'. No it is not, it is a Gordon-Keeble. It is just unfortunate that the maker is defunct, and never built many cars (99 as it happens), so it doesn't feature on the radar of the NZ registration authorities, so consequently it is a 'custombuilt'.
