book covering 150 years of South African railways

From our trade partner in South Africa, Jean Dulez, comes this lavish new book on the railways of Southern Africa over the past century and a half, with a focus on motive power.  South Africa's railways have always had an appeal to NZ enthusiasts not just because the track gauge is the same 3'6" but because of the variety and the country's magnificent landscapes.  This book not only covers the railways run under the auspices of the state but also private railways.

The large format hardcover book includes 848 b/w photos, 884 colour photos, 391 technical drawings or diagrams, 23 specifications tables and 11 regional maps - which should alone demonstrate that there is plenty of absorbing info and pictures in it.
